I've been holding my ETH for a while and plan to for the foreseeable future. I'm nervous about staking with Lido or RocketPool before the Merge for some reason. Looking for opinions from people on whether I should just stake my ETH now or wait until post-Merge to stake.

I expect rEth FOMO right after the merge, lido looks less promising

I’ve staked all 200 of my ETH at Coinbase. They currently pay 3.25% APR in ETH2 rewards. I’m in this as a long term investment. r/GLTA_ETH!!!

I use Lido i dont worry about price since I’m holding for a long time and after the merge staking will be much higher APY, with ETH going up in price it will be nice just holding.

I am running one Rocket Pool Node with Allnodes since December and can totally recommend it!

APRs:
3.8% ETH
12.3% RPL
